Last week was very hectic for me. Like things couldn't get "better", water spilt on my camera and it's now in a bowl of rice. My baby! In rice!! On Saturday morning I woke up with the feeling that something bad was about to happen to my camera. That Saturday a couple of my friends where going to an event and needed my camera. I was reluctant at first but I decided to lend it to them. "Everything will be fine", I thought. After a couple of hours my mind became unsettled. I was missing my baby. I called my friend that I gave it to, but she wasn't picking up, then I gave my other friend a call. No one picked up. I started to panic. I knew something was wrong, and I also desperately need a document on the SD card in the camera (I back up my work on anything. Literally!) After two hours my friends came home and presented a new camera to me telling me that water had spilt all over my camera and it had stopped working. I held back my tears and I chuckled sarcastically to myself, as my friends huddled over me and the coach I was sitting on, leaning in with nervous eyes, anticipating my response.
So that is what happened to my camera. Which is why it is now in a bowl of rice. I don't want a new camera I just want my camera back. Join me in prayers as I await my camera's recovery. vx.
