I found myself contemplating after listening to this song. I don't know how many parts of my body I have broken, but instead of staying away from the true healer and trying to path up myself; 'I'll just keep on walking with my limp'. No matter how many times I fall I will get back up. Christ fell so many time on his way to the cross, there was a point that he's body gave way and felt like he couldn't take anymore. Someone came and helped him carried his cross but only to a certain point. No one could complete the journey for him and what awaited. Christ carried that cross, toke all my pain, shame, ridicule, persecution, not so that I will never be persecuted, or beaten, curse at, spat on, or even killed, but so that after all that, my end will be worth it. Christ made the ultimate journey, limping to the cross, so that we may do the same for others. Are we ready to limp to the cross on behalf of our brothers and sisters? Not just those in Christ, because Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. Are you ready to die for the gospel of Christ, which is to die for neighbours that are not saved.
Christ's sacrifice paved a way to God, giving us salvation and direct access to God. What you do with your salvation is up to you. You can work it out with fear and trembling, exalting the most above all, and pulling down anything that wants to raise itself above the knowledge of Christ; loving your God wholeheartedly and your neighbours as yourself. Or you can leave it and let the cares of this world take it from you while you seek after vanity. We need to redirect our focus. Although achievements are good, if they are not to bless the lives of people then what good are they? If all the suffering we go through is just for vain things then what value are our lives truly? Let us lay hold of the gift of salvation and limp towards the perfection that he called us to be. He is waiting to welcome us as his good and faithful servants.
This song is so deep, I've only barely scratched the surface of the message the song gives. Please take time to listen and meditate upon the meaning behind this song. The music is good for your ears and the words for your soul. God bless you all. Have a wonderful day x.
Hi. Welcome to this page. This journal (blog) is an insight into my journey through life with God. I hope it is a bless and a source of encouragement to everyone, theist, atheist, Christian and non-Christian.
