Hi everyone. How are you all? I know, I know. I've been away way too long this time. No excuses. I am so sorry. I appreciate you all for your support and love even though I have been away for a while.
Autumn is basically over, so this outfit saying goodbye to the autumn season and hello to winter 2016. This look's focus is the lace detail on the skirt. A little bit of back story on this skirt. So I have had this skirt for a few years now and only worn it once. My honest feelings about the skirt initially were negative. however I couldn't get rid of it because it was a gift from my mum. Just a couple of weeks ago I was searching through my wardrobe and I came across it. I decided to try it on again and I love it. I realised how much my style had changed over the years. The once hoodie and jeans tomboy Janet, had become a lover of minimalist style.....and this skirt fit right in to my current sense of style.
Back to the look. Like I said in my previous outfit blog post I mentioned that I have been loving the monochromatic look lately, and you can't get anymore monochromatic than an all black outfit.
I accessorised this outfit with a gold necklace and snake print block ankle boots.
This is one of favourite pieces of jewlery at the moment. I was a gift from my sister. This little robot is so cute and the perfect statement peice for this look. I don't usually look wear necklaces with jumpers, but the this was a definate yes.
Another simple and classic accessory. When it comes to bags I am quite picky, I have a lot of dislikes and one of them is gold detailings. I would prefare the Item to be plain and elegant than have a cheap gold detail on it. However the gold details on this bag is just right. I find the shape and structure of the bag very sturdy and of good material. It's simple and chic, easy to carry, lightweight and big enough to fit your essensials in. Overall this bag is a definate thumbs up for me.
