Spring is finally here and I am excited. Although it is still cold outside it is getting warmer and the flowers are starting to sprout. I'm not really a big fan of flowers blooming because that means hay-fever and all sorts of interesting scents filling the air. Believe it or not all flowers smell great>>>> insert Outkast "Roses" lyrics<<<<< This season I am going to be exploring a wide spectrum of colours, from bold to pastels. You should be confident in yourself and be willing to explore different colours. This way you might discover your own unique style of make-up. Remember, in being yourself, the most important thing is to be yourself. This particular look was inspired by Jackie Aina a YouTuber who did a beautiful blue eyeshadow tutorial. She looked stunning and I decided to have a go at it myself, adding my own spine to it. I love it. I will definitely be styling this with an outfit, so keep an eye out.
I was just playing around with my makeup kit again and I decided to do something different from my usual white tear duct or smoky eye makeup. I figured if I can use white or neutral colours why not blue or pink or teal? Then, Ta da! This happened and I absolutely love it. The gold and teal are a perfect combination for this look.
I can't tell you how much I am going to miss the winter season. It is my favourite season. I love the festivities that come with it. Christmas, my favourite time of the year, and new years. Also all the wonderful winter colours. It is the perfect time to rock those shimmering shadows proudly. Therefore to officially say goodbye to winter I wore this glittering silver shadow with a warm transition colour and cool tone red lips. This look is perfect for both day and night wear (I would however add more glitter at night, just to add more sparkle to the eyes). I did want something too dramatic so I kept the smoky eye effect to a minimum, and let the warmer shadow transition in well into the shimmer shadow. I did not contour a lot I instead focused on highlighting to emphasise my features.

Makeup is just an added bonus :)
